History of Barker Meier
 Barker Meier Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd was established in 1991 by Ken Barker and Paul Meier in Adelaide, South Australia.
Both have had over 25 years experience in the General Insurance area and prior to starting the business together, held positions in senior management and corporate levels with Lend Lease, MLC, Forsaith and General Accident Insurance.
As a professional General Insurance Broking company, Barker Meier has established itself as a respected Broker with Clients and Insurance Companies throughout Australia.
We predominately handle the Insurance needs of commercial clients in the Corporate, Industrial, Retail, Commercial and Trades sectors.
These clients have benefited by way of specifically designed Insurance Programs coupled with ongoing service that identifies and deals with real issues that can arise.
Barker Meier has established underwriting facilities both locally and overseas to cater for all types of risks, particularly having special facilities for Franchise Groups, Associations, Commercial Properties and Corporate Entities.
In July 2005, Barker Meier acquired McMahon Brinx Insurance Brokers. Today, Barker Meier have offices located in Adelaide, South Australlia and Melbourne, Victoria and can help you today with your insurance needs.
